Leather Mistress In Boots

My latest readings and other things

Hello!

does a lot since I updated the blog, but the truth is I have not had time to do so. In recent days I have focused on the new novel (which has already reached 100 pages!) And things for The Temple of a Thousand Doors .

I remind you that in the next issue of the journal results will Prix II Temple of a Thousand Doors , which reward the best novels of 2010 ... Let's see who wins!

Meanwhile, I'm drawing to catch up with a lot of readings that had delayed and that I loved. Then I leave a quick listing with short reviews of them:
Incarceron , Catherine Fisher

A great atmosphere and a very well-drawn characters. The plot is exciting and well spun. The only thing that fails a bit is the end, which is slow. In any case, I'm looking forward to reading me the second part, sapphic.

mechanical
Angel, Cassandra Clare

Wonderful. The author had only read the first Shadowhunters , but I liked it so much more. I think this story hits more Victorian Steampunk and touch the Urban Fantasy. The characters, especially Will, I loved. I want more, more, more ...

Average rating: 9.5

's Diary of the Thousand Days, Shannon Hale

A charming fairy tale, realistic and perfect with a dark sensibility. Dashti's voice, the protagonist of history is overwhelming force. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy reading.

Audrey, Wait! ,
Robin Benway

Fun, fun and humor. I laughed out loud at the misadventures of Audrey. Robin Benway has become with this book and April, May & June one of my favorite authors. A fresh voice that I recommend to everyone. The worst of the book, the cover ... of embarrassment. But trust me: the story worthwhile.

Cornelius and impossible pantry,
Carles Vila Salva

A beautiful story full of feeling, of those who remain in the heart rather than the memory. Highly recommended for children and adults :-)!
