NEW TALENT, SAN CRISTOBAL .- An Electrical Engineer reported that a police colonel along with several other members of that institution entered his property and destroyed the fences and some crops are within it. Juan Ramón Rodríguez Cuevas (Ephraim) stated that the officer committed the Nelson Eddy Araújo fact being misused, he said that there will be bloodshed if not leave the premises.
Engineer Rodríguez Cuevas said that the attitude of Colonel Araújo not correspond to the policy of respect for Human Rights sponsored the President of the Republic, Dr. Leonel Fernandez Reyna, and the Chief of Police, Major General Joseph A. Polanco Gómez, while requested the intervention of these so that the officer correct its behavior.
official said the is to take possession of the premises for some time and is presented along with other heavily armed members of the police in order to intimidate the current landowners, who work that land for nearly a century.
The lands are located in the Cadastral District No. 3 of Section Ingenio new and that the officer will be submitted to court for violation of property and damage to it.
